With more than 30 years in the financial services industry, Adam serves as a strategic connector and advisor to RIA firm owners, leadership teams, and next-gen talent. His role is to help great people and great firms find the right fit for their next stage of growth.
As the founder of A.M. Guidance & Financial Services Consulting, Adam has spent decades building relationships across the advisory landscape — from emerging RIAs to multi-billion-dollar enterprises. In 2023 alone, he placed 35+ professionals and facilitated multiple strategic partnerships — all without retainers, pressure, or fluff.
Dan Lidawer
President & CEO, Lids Consulting
Dan Lidawer is one of the most accomplished leaders in the independent wealth management industry. He co-founded Hightower Advisors, helping design one of the first national platforms for wirehouse breakaway teams. As President, he led the firm’s growth to $40B+ in AUM and 450+ employees, culminating in a private-equity investment by Thomas H. Lee Partners, valuing the firm at approximately $350 million.
He later co-founded Cresset Wealth Advisors, where he helped architect its multi-family-office platform serving entrepreneurs and ultra-high-net-worth families. Within its first year, Cresset surpassed $3B in assets, and today manages more than $70B, ranking among the nation’s leading independent RIAs.
As President & CEO of Lids Consulting, LLC, Dan now advises founders and advisory firms on M&A strategy, valuation, succession planning, and enterprise scalability — helping them align ownership, culture, and capital for long-term success.
